The sole purpose of this innovative space is to bring out the uniquely creative visionary that naturally lives and thrives within each and every Mother alive; furthermore, this exceedingly creative visionary is eagerly waiting to be truly seen, celebrated, and ultimately recognized.

This newly-created stage is designed to celebrate all occasions.. all episodes.. all unforeseen adventures and roller-coaster rides: the incredible highs and the blindingly sharp dips, twists, and turns.. OOOH.. and those silver little lingings, of course — those charming miracles that come with a furrowed eyebrow and that very generous wink of the eye.

All of these moments — our growing joys & pains, the battle scars & wounds make us who we are. They help us grow and to accelerate through life at an all-time record pace — even when it feels like we are experiencing the epitome of the perpetual ebb & flow of the polar opposites.

As your visionary stenographer, it is my job to produce images for you that are photographed with originality, style, edge, vulnerability; to make sure that your images are only photographed, developed, printed & handled with the utmost love, care, and attention.

My job is to ensure that the greatest version of YOU radiantly shines its absolute brightest on film.

Looking back at my first pregnancy, I wish that I could have had my experience documented on film. I wish that I could have had my story told through this delicate medium. We all know that the rest is a blur.

Less than one month before Maximillian was born, I decided to photograph myself in my upstairs bathroom with my husband on stand-by to be my assistant. Daniel was also my model for a few shots – I could not think of a more perfect occasion. I felt so proud. I felt so beautiful. I felt so tired. And so gosh-darn big.

I knew that I could never have this particular experience again. Everything within me told me to do this before my energy completely waned — to humbly bow out was NOT an option. My conscience would not allow it.

A day later, I developed the only roll of film taken during my session while Maximillian was using me as an internal kicking & punching bag/hitching post. I just have to let out an enormous sigh when I think back.

A week later, I had the entire photo session printed. I enclosed every single photograph in a signed and sealed envelope — complete with a letter addressed to my son for when he grows up. These memories are eternal.. EVERLASTING. These memories are for Maximillian to tell his story.

The Maternity Sessions are designed to capture the ultimate expressions of what it is like to be the divine feminine — the bearer, the nurturer, the protector; to be the home to an unconditionally loving pure soul.
