MEET COURTNEY-ARIAH

Typewriter Effect

You’ve landed on my About page—cool. Now, let’s get real.

I’m a multi-passionate, can’t-be-defined kind of person.  So writing one of these?  Well, let's just say I could go on for days, but let's not beat around the proverbial bush here.   There is one thing that I know for sure --  I care—deeply—about doing things most people are too afraid to do.

I want to be remembered for how I touched and pried that extremely delicate nerve from within the subject… pinched it… fostered it, tended to it… gave it plenty of light and love and TLC.. buoyancy… effervescence…. ILLUMINATION.. and how I set it free into the world to SHINE… TO SHOCK… TO PROVOKE… TO LOVE…AND TO LIVE…in blueprint i.e. in the DNA of the photograph. I want to know that I forever changed that blueprint in their photographic DNA long after I have left my body….

I want to be known for being .. different … across the board

I'm here to leave an impression, and I'm ready to help you do the same damn thing.

For me, photography, writing, and artistry is about being true to who we are while pushing the edges to discover just how BOLD we can be.

That’s what makes the difference between just another photograph and a world-class one. You feel it, and so does everyone who sees it.

I’m here to bring the energy. You’re not just standing in front of a camera — you’re stepping into a space where creativity runs wild, ideas flow, and laughter is guaranteed. If you don’t leave our shoot having laughed your ass off at least once, I’ve done something wrong. Too many photographers take this shit too seriously. Life’s too short for that.

At the end of it all, I want you walking away knowing we didn’t just take pictures — we created something unforgettable. That’s the goal. That’s the impression I leave.

What It’s Like to Get in Front of My Lens?

It’s raw. It’s real. It’s everything — no filters, no pretenses, no ego. Just me, fully present, giving every ounce of creative fire I’ve got.

I work with the DO-ERS—the genuine-article STORYTELLERS who push boundaries, break molds, and refuse to fit neatly into anyone’s box. The ones who don’t need outside approval to know they’re cute as hell, but hey, the extra gravy doesn’t hurt.

The world has gotten real comfortable trying to sanitize, censor, and smooth out every sharp edge of creativity. Everything is thin-minted, butterscotched, and stripped of its bite. And for what? To keep things beige? To make sure nobody looks too long, feels too deeply, or thinks too hard?

Nah. Not here.

WHO I WORK WITH:

The Rebels. The Rock N’ Rollers. The Cowboys & The Revellers. The Renegades. The Free-Wheelers AND the Thinkers. The ones who create because they have to—because their ideas are too damn big to keep locked inside.

The ones who want their work to provoke, ignite, and linger in the minds of those who dare to look. The ones who know that true art—the kind that makes people feel something—doesn’t come from playing it safe.

So if you’re ready to ditch the status quo and create something raw, untamed, and unapologetically YOU, let’s make some magic.

I work with the people who aren’t afraid to shake shit up.

  • Born into beautiful non-chalant chaos and  fueled by creativity.   I was raised in Marlton, New (SOUTH) Jersey and grew up in Dunedin, Florida.  I found my creative voice in Rotterdam. by way of London town.  The world is my playground, and I shoot wherever the heck inspiration takes me.
  • Out of all the Ninja Turtles, I adored Michelangelo the most-- he loved pizza and said  the word 'dude.'.  (Pizza is still my favorite food of all time -- closely followed by Tex-Mex.)
  • Country-western music and punk rock run vivaciously through my veins.  One of my lifelong goals is to start my own punk rock/country fusion band.
  • When I was a kid, I wanted to be an archaeologist like Indiana Jones  -- until my Uncle Ronnie told me there was no money in it.
  • I take my photography seriously, but I don't take myself too seriously. If you don’t laugh your ass off at least once during a shoot, I’ve failed you.
  • Cowboys fan for life. My sister hates me for it, but Dallas WILL do it again. Mark my words.
  • Titanic still makes me cry. And Fried Green Tomatoes? Don’t even get me started.
  • My son is my biggest inspiration. The reason I do what I do, and the reason I never take a single day for granted.  I LOVE YOU MAXIMILLIAN!
  • I cook, I bake, I play guitar, and I when I am stateside -- I always enjoy hitting the shooting range. And yes, I’ve binge-watched Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team more times than I’d like to admit.
  • My dream night? A Thanksgiving dinner hosted by Elizabeth Montgomery, featuring Abraham Lincoln, Rod Serling, Lucille Ball, Muhammad Ali, Josephine Baker, Frida Kahlo, Woody Guthrie, Joseph Benner, Lauren Bacall and a chocolate-ice-cream rainstorm with hot-fudge, whipped cream, M&Ms, and a cherry on top. Oh, and Chris Farley’s carving the turkey while George Carlin serves hors d’oeuvres.

That’s me. Now, let’s make something fucking unforgettable.
